Subtle update, but let's talk about the flavor. For those that don't know, Chimichurri is usually seen as a sauce, typical to all Latin American countries in some regional variation. Here we tried to encapsulate the best of these styles in a dry form. The keynotes are herbs, parsley, cilantro, oregano, as well as onion, garlic, paprika, and vinegar. This blend is great as an all purpose seasoning, and actually helps tenderize your meat, or give a zing to seafood and vegetables.
"Xurri" is excellent with:
Steak & Grilled Onions
Roasted Chicken & Potatoes
Seared Fish & Shrimp
Broccolini, grilled Squash
Hard boiled eggs, Salads
Oil for bread dipping

Well. Another chapter of the book almost done. I came up to Sterling Painted Tree to grab our product. Its been posted and shared everywhere about ALL OF THE PAINTED TREES shutting down. No official warning, just an email.

I state no official warning, but you know when you get that feeling, hey um something isn't right? Well it got to feel that way with Painted Tree a long time ago.

It seemed like a super fun adventure. Like another way to get our products out to the public for them to have the goods. It seemed so promising. Til it wasn't.

Low traffic. Empty spaces. Lack of communication from the people in charge. Incorrect invoices. Theft.

But hey what can ya do? We at Hunger, always pivot. We always figure it out and go forth. And we shall continue after all of this.

Walking through the doors today was very bittersweet. It hit different with the empty booths this time. Like we all gotta get out or we lose our stuff. We found out this past Tuesday, April 14th. We have til the 24th to get out of the store. Wow. No pressure right. Sheesh.

Thank you to the staff that was always so helpful and nice. They got screwed too. There is nothing wrong with being nice to them, they feel for us too. The employees there did nothing wrong. Thank you to them. Thank you to the managers that did help when they were able.

And hey you uppers that came in and did what you did--deep down you know what you did. When you stub your toe later, and it really hurts--you're welcome.

To all the fellow small businesses, we feel for you. Sending everyone all the good vibes. We all need a little right now.

Next up we've got roasted fresnos in a tight ensemble, ready for a week in the freeze, preparing itself to become Table Red.
The magic pot of blitz sauce. "Reaper Red" is our spiciest sauce, but it's not as intense as most condiments bearing the name. A hotter version of our beloved replacement sauce, Table Red, Reaper is a nice notch above in heat, as well as being a vinegar based sauce, unlike most Reaper blends.
